Fortunately...Unfortunately
Hello. Found this on another forum, hope you enjoy. Apologies if it's been done.
Quote:
The initial post describes something good that happened…the next one has to start with "Unfortunately…" and take a negative twist on it. Then the next post would be "Fortunately…" and would counter the negative post with a good side to it, then it would go back to "Unfortunately…" and continue on…
something like this:
~ "The boy was skating in the park."
~ "Unfortunately, he was skating towards a pool of water."
~ "Fortunately, he was able to avoid falling in."
~ "Unfortunately, he crashed into a girl in the process."
~ "Fortunately, the girl was nice."
~ "Unfortunately, the girl wasn't nice to boys."
|
Etc.
So to start:
The man clicked on to HTML forums.
*Waits for "Unfortunately he saw this thread"*

Unfortunately he posted in the wrong forum...
Edit:
I think an important rule is that you cannot deny the last statement. Like..
Fortunately he avoided the pool of water
Unfortunately he really didn't
Should not be allowed. Impromtu style is what I am getting at

Unfortunately, cake doesn't travel well by email, so he never received it. (althalus and I have tried the e-mail food thing before, and it just. Didn't. Work. )

Unfortunately the guy was so full he was sick.
Hahaha, I forgot to post this but this before but the game reminds me of a great quote from Simpsons weirdly...
Quote:
Homer tells the owner that he is looking for a present for his son's
birthday. The owner hands to him a talking Krusty doll.
Owner: Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse!
Homer: [worried] Ooooh, that's bad.
Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt!
Homer: [relieved] That's good.
Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: [worried] That's bad.
Owner: But you get your choice of topping!
Homer: [relieved] That's good.
Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate.
Homer: [stares]
Owner: That's bad.

What a coincidence. Would of been a better example in hindsight.

Fortunately, there was a neutrino shield around his head that dematerialised the sick before it made contact with the floor.

Fortunately we are used to the fact
that no-one understands anything
that Disturbed writes.
