You can use JavaScript in HTML page using the <script> tag and ending with </script> tag. Generally the code for the using JavaScript in HTML document is given bellow.

java script is like php but in php we use our own library functions but in java script it is all user defined and if you are in the starting stage ...there are lot of ebook available in Google ..juz browse and learn the basics ..you can definitely learn it quickly

Now thats just wrong. There are functions in Javascript as well as frameworks (like Jquerry).

javascript is a client script, you could write javascript code in html page in this:
