Please critique my personal improvement blog layout - HTML Forums

Well, I've had this blog for a while and I started it really just for myself and note-taking and reinforcement. But I recently started to try to make it user friendly because a few people trickle in now and then, and really it is useful stuff for everybody.

So, I've been messing around with readability and colors but I'm much better at writing than creative design.

I'd appreciate any and all feedback regarding the layout, readability, colors, etc. If you want me to review or proofread your site in return I will gladly return the favor.

I think you need to move the text out of the header image. It detracts from the image and vice versa. Also, the sentences in the second paragraph are not continuous. I think you hit enter when you shouldn't have. Other than that, your layout is good and I like the favicon.

Thanks for the feedback... I've been battling what to do with that header.

I'm not great with graphical stuff and I used to have a lot more text, but it's more than I think visitors want to see up there.

It is well made but I agree with Gerry that the header needs a little work.

All the blog posts seem a little squished together. Maybe try to separate them a little, like by making the titles a little bigger, or adding a line in-between each post.
