layout for my portfolio site - HTML Forums

Hi,

I put together this layout to use for my portolio. the white boxes will be iframes. the left ones will have thumbnails in them and when moused over, a larger version will appear in the iframe across from it. I know the navigation is not in the best place, but I'm going to put an email link in the boxes on the right before they are moused over. Let me know what you think of it.

I like the boldness of it and the colors but it does hurt your eyes a bit! It might be so bad though once you have some content in those white boxes, it's the contrast between those and the other colors that does your eyes in!

You're right about the navigation, it's never a good idea to put that at the bottom of the page because a lot of people will miss it. But you say you are going to do something with that anyway.

Overall, nice job, I look forward to seeing it again when you have some content on there.

i wouldnt use iframes, but thats just me. looks good but the colors hurt my eyes.

i think the layout is good, and that it will probably work well as a portfolio, but i would recommend some different colors that match eachother better... purple and blue go together pretty well, but niether of them really go well with green... and maybe make them a little more neutural.

and it is hard to read the black words.
and try to stayway from the pop up. that comes up when the site opens.
