How to create portfolio? - HTML Forums

Hello, I would like to create my own portfolio. I have no commercial project created, but I have a lot of ideas, so I would like to represent it on my own website.
Do you know if I can use website graphics from sites like i.e. http://www.freewebtemplates.com/graphics.php?id=19
and can you tell me which sites offers free graphic which can be use by me in my portfolio's projects?

Hmm I believe there is another forum for this..but to answer your question, from what I understand a portfolio is just displaying your work. So people who may want to hire you for something can see your past work. Using graphics from other sites depends if they allow it or not, if they say you can then yeah but its better to make your own anyways. You can design them to your preference rather than picking from others.

As to websites offering free graphics I have no idea but google should work if you type the right keywords. I remember seeing a thread somewhere on this forum having a list of sites with free graphics, if I find it i'll edit my post.

Yeah, a portfolio is just a collection of your work. As for using free graphics on it, I would stay away from it, as it is meant to be your work, so using freebies made by someone else kinda lacks the professionalism for a site displaying your work.
