Graphics Titles - HTML Forums

I am trying to add titles to the pictures on my site (so they are picked up in a google image search) without success. I am using MS Office Live to host my website (cos it's free) and I do get lots of headaches in (sometimes) getting things the way I want them.

Can anyone a bit more proficient help?

Hi,

You need to add title tags and image alt tags to your images, i do not know much MS office Live so i cannot help you there.

title attribute shows text in pop up box when mouse is moved over the image and alt attribute shows before image loads or when image cannot be displayed. you may want to check some website pages and look for source code,

It also helps to have text on the page that discusses the images. Google picks up on nearby text as well as alt text to figure out what the image is.
