I always thought it was more to do with the way users interacted with, and used the medium.
It's true that we're lucky to be watching the web evolve like this, especially with a technology that encompasses so many aspects of our lives including, education, entertainment, social interaction, i think the list goes on.  |

well - web 3.0 is a completely different kettle of fish to web 2.0 - and in much the same way that web 2.0 wasn't a replacement for web 1.0, web 3.0 is simply extended ideas on top of web 2.0

web 3.0 ?
i don't know much, but I thought web 2.0 (semantic web) was an idea on web using ontologies and other technologies to describe the information and its context and making relation among them. i heard this so called semantic web still haven't been used successfully by anyone, but are used on specific application domain where knowledge and its relation doesn't conflict.
so what is web 2.0 ? now i am confused ?

so if you are asking what is web 2.0? then the answer is that it's a term used to call second level generation web pages designed dynamically with improved user interaction such as squidoo, hubpages, etc..
