Am I the only one amongst the tech peeps here that doesn't often use the phone for it's "vocal communication abilities"?I find I'm personally reliant upon my cell phone to act as a wireless text communication tool -- as a result, I'm quite contented with my Blackberry Curve 8330 -- even though there isn't a single provider in Canada with a good data plan for a reasonable price.
I find myself dependent on SMS, e-mail, and Instant Messaging via my cell phone, and less so on actual phone calls (except in cases of long distance). I also find myself using the Blackberry's limited mp3 playing abilities in lieu of a never used ipod I have kicking around.
Call me crazy, but I prefer to carry as few devices as possible to achieve the maximum functionality -- unless I know I'm gonna be coding or gaming, I don't bother to take my laptop anywhere...I just take my blackberry for communications.

i've read reviews of the n97, and they aren't too favourable on the actual interface, unfortunately... I love nokia (had several models over the years, and happy with all of them including my current n95), but I was thinking Palm Pre...
now, though, they announced the n900 - which seems to make up for the problems the n97 had...
