Does anyone know how to do this? or is this like an affiliated thing?

I always thought facebook wrote and formatted a menu of sorts designed for the google bots to find, but thats just speculation.

In my own experiences, if you do good SEO jobs on some keywords for your homepage and also inner pages, you would get it. It is a bonus for an excellent SEO job.

I think this is called "Google sitelinks". Maybe you can google "Google sitelinks" to find some tips. Example, http://www.google.com/support/webmas...n&answer=47334

There's nothing particularly special you need to do - just have clearly demarcated navigation which is consistent on most or all pages on your site...

I seem to remember they had a specific name for this... but can't seem to locate it in their webmaster pages at the moment

could be horus. If you go and google 'htmlforums', you will also get the same kind of results also. Hmmmmmm interesting.
