the term software refers to instructions and programs that tell hardware what to do , software can be purchased on cd or dvd or downloaded from the internet , it also has two types system software and application software

Yah i agree to your definitions...i am technician also and being technician are very important to know the meaning of software!!! and you need to be familiar the all Operating System...
