Ever hear the argument made that website newbies should use Google for their most basic of questions instead of being lazy and making a forum post? I’ve heard a lot of arguments made both ways on this, of how the question can be answered easily with a simple Google search, and the counter argument that a newbie may not know how to pose the question or understand the results of their search, but what about the SEO argument? I propose that even the simple questions that are asked can greatly enhance a community, because the more information posted in the forum, the more users will find the forum through their query of Google for information.
