How to create RSS feed from a password protected site

By pibachil at 2008-07-28 16:52

Hi Guys

We want to have feeds FROM the Dash. Our issue is that the site is password protected, so feeds only work if you are already logged in to it!!!

At the moment, we are looking at disabling password protection on RSS feed results (eg the title, description, date etc)

, so that you could download them or view them outside of the Dash. When you clicked on one of the links, you would then be asked for a password..

I want to know if any of you have had to make that choice or if you've found another way.

*The Dashboard is name our Extranet and is password protected.

Thanks for the help before hand!

Trying to disable someone else's password protection is illegal. You could have your site shut down for that.

Never underestimate the power of a Mom.
