html + php, pulling a forum onto a html page

hi, i would like to pull a phpbb forum "news" forum onto my main page, displaying like a portal:

www.mediahustler.com/bhlcs/

how do i do that, but pull it to the index, EXACTLY like above link?

This is a very complicated procedure that no web "newbie" would really understand how to do step by step per say, it would require the pulling of templates from phpBB and heavily modding code of the forum. There are modifications and stuff for things like that on www.phpbb.com in there MODs database. However if you wanted to do this on a regular HTML page it would be very simple. But since your trying to pull data from the database and put it on your forum page its alot more complicated.

plus html won't handle it, it has to be php.

Well yeah, if you had an HTML based page you would have to include or make a PHP block in the HTML.

no, it willstill be php. html can't do it. yes a block on html but it will be php in the end. a .php file will only do that, not .html
