If you do not have a virus scanner, and you probably should, you can check out your computer for free atmcafee.com using their one time only web scan. Visit the page: http://www.mcafee.com/myapps/vso/default.asp and select "Take a test drive". You might find a gremlin lurking about your hard drive!

I use Trend's House Call on occasion, I will never visit or try another of mcafee's software after the problems I had with them, 1st having to reinstall Win98 and 2nd having to remove thier virus scan manually via regedit.
