Sig Links and Indexing Sites

I've been asking around and experimenting with different ways in getting my Web 2.0 properties indexed as quickly as possible. I've tried pingomatic, pingler, backlinks from already indexed sites such as my own and web 2.0 properties. I also hit popular SBM sites like Digg and Backflip.

Yes - they eventually got indexed, but some of them took a few months. A question here - has anyone tried sig links from popular forums/blogs? Will they index web 2.0 properties (or any un-indexed page) quicker?

Certainly every link helps in indexing whether it is from forum, blog or any where else.
