SERPs help
this as puzzled me i recently got my website up and running and wehn i got indexed by google i was on page 6. Then i did some backlinking and jumped to middle of page 2 in about 1 week, then i checked today and im not listed in any of the first 20 pages. can anyone explane this to me. is it google just updating or something

Call it the google dance. Especially for a new site - you may end up in the sandbox because Google wants to make sure your site isn't a spam site. Keep backlinking and you'll get back up there.

When ranking position of your web page vary maybe even dramatically in google SERP-s, it is due to new inbound links which your web site gain.
