Question SEO's Largest Income Source?

What do you believe is an SEO's largest income source? Affiliated products.. sold ebooks.. selling their sites... or just plain company seo ... ? Express your opinions or your experiences.

Experience

This is from my own personal experience.

I really wanted to make money off of adsense. I averaged a buck a day (if that) and thought maybe I would try getting clients. So far, I'm doing A LOT better. I have a full-time jobs that pays well - but I'm doing the SEO for three clients (part-time) and I'm averaging around $1000 / month. Not much - but better than what I was making with Google ads!
