HREF TITLE tag..NEED help :( - HTML Forums

I'm trying to edit my site. I went to Meta Tag Analysis
to see how my site is and it says this:

HREF TITLE: Oops, no HREF TITLE tag!
Warning: The HREF TITLE tag is missing or is not properly formatted. This can result lower overall rankings and therefore less hits to your web site. The HREF TITLE tag should be between 3 and 5 words (30-50 characters). You should use a few of your primary KeyWords in your HREF TITLE tag.

What should my HREF title tag look like and where in the index should I place it? Can you give me an example

In all of your links you should have a title attribute.

i doubt if it is the <title></title> tag!
i have seen some meta tag analysers and they usually dont bother about the titles of links that you have written about.
also these titles may not be that important from search engine point of view.
where as the <title></title> tag is very important.

The HREF TITLE tag is simply the text link version of the IMG ALT tag.

When you set an image's ALT tag, you see the text in a little yellow tooltip box that pops up when you move your mouse over the image. When you set a text link's TITLE tag, it does the same thing...when you mouse over a text link, the little yellow tooltip box pops up displaying the text you put in the TITLE tag.

But I known as a what's need of title tag in href tag?

The link title attributes bears absolutley no bearing on SEO, and I cant see it douing so for the foreseable future.

This really needs no more discussion, its a none issue.

while it might have no bearing on SEO (and I think that you are not entirely correct on that point) it has massive implications for accessibility which is rather important if you want to make sure you site is used by people not graced with clear eyesight...

Thats more than a fair point, but the context was SEO, and by the sounds of it very dodgy SEO software advice.

Yes href title which always used to make a link of your url when you submit press release, classified, article submission, then we need to put href title to display our url. Then only we will get a good traffic of our site.
