I know directories are not that prevelant anymore - but do you guys still leave links at directories - if so - which ones?

It still works. Go for high PR and human edited directories. Specially deep link directories are really helpful for inner page backlink.

Submitting links to high PR directories is a good way of Search Engine Optimization.. It can increase the page rank and can drive traffics and also good way to promote your website.

Although directories is not that powerful but I still submit my site to webdirectories. Even to the directories that has no PR yet. I wonder why people keep on submitting their sites with high PR directories and neglect those directories without PR yet. didn't they know that those directories that has no PR will have a PR soon?

if you looking for directory submission then post on high pr directory. High pr directory gives backlink and high page rank.

Directory submission helps a lot for the site to get good back links. We should submit the site in high pr directories .It works a lot for me.

I don't rely on directory submission anymore. It is not that useful as before. But if you can link to some authority directories like DMOZ, Yahoo, Google directory, Goguide, and Glimpsy, they will help your ranking a lot.

Who told you directories not work, Please try web-directories.ws ther you can find a huge list of free directories and the approval rate is also high.

Right, directory submission would still work for traffic and SEO purpose, especially those niche relative directories and deep linking acceptable directories.
