I'm adding one word on my title tag and switching some words around - do you think I'll get slapped in the SERPs?

I think you will get some advantage for the traffic and page rank but, you cannot drive as much as you require the page rank, for that you need to work on seo projects and submit the press release, article submission, classified, social bookmarking.

If you put words in your title tag which doesn't exist in the body copy, of course your ranking position for that words from title tags will go down.
