I think Automatic Submission should be avoided because when they submit to directories or blogs or forums, the posts are considered as spams and gets deleted instantly because its not good in the eye of Google.
You can try semi -automatic submission tools where you just have to fill some fields.

I think manual subscription is more accurate.

I prepare to the manual submission rather than automatic one. Manual submission has guaranteed and easy to track. If you have no time to submit manually, you can outsource it...

Some people believe most of the time, the article directories don’t know you are using automated submission software, and there are some handy and effective automatic article submitters with spinning feature.
While others believe those submission softwares are of waste of money and time, and they don’t do any good to your rankings. These don't target the keywords, rather you can go manual submission where you will know exactly what you wana do.

Well, from my point of view, the problem with article submitters are that you are submitting duplicate content, by doing this search engines are most likely to penalize your articles. This is a bog drawback because articles don’t get rank well and you end up with less organic traffic from those articles. However, all of the Associate Press news sites on the web have duplicate content, including CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and many, many others. Yes bigger sites, but still duplicate content. The content is limited, but the way to display it is various. And to be honest, submitting software do help if the workload is huge. So maybe, we could semi-manually to ensure correct categories are chosen. Also make note of any article directories with special rules such as lower maximum link limit, body word count requirements, html requirements, etc. Basically if your articles are all getting properly approved, the software is effective. And I kind of believe it is worthwhile to submit the same articles to hundreds of websites. Meanwhile, if we could get that much content, the limited submission may be more effective.

Because most of them do a bad job. ive tried automated services before and it just never works out. Its better to know exactly what you did so you can learn from it.

To submit to directories manually can take up to a full day or longer depending on how many sites you want to submit to. To avoid spending a lot of time on article submission there are two alternatives you might wish to consider.

You can use article submission software to submit your articles. It is better to find a semi automated software system to submit your articles, because fully automated software article submitting software programs are forbidden by many quality article sites.

A semi automated article submitting software program, such as Article Announcer, enables you to overcome blocks put in place by article sites to prevent fully automated software programs.

It won't hurt to give it a try!

Not only u may need more time to check if that works, and to make up for any small mistakes, also u may be penelized by SEs!

Everything depends on the quality and features of the program with which you automate. If the program can perform the same actions that you then what's the difference?
