For a web design company creating business profiles would work well with many of these types of sites free. Sites such as LinkedIn give you a chance to list company website URLs, links to your blog, etc. If you have a blog check blog sites like Blogged, MyBlogLog, and add your profile information, blog links and blog feed there. Make sure the links are dofollow and follow up to see that the new pages you create are indexed in Google. Keep a mix of the domain URLs and keyword anchor text in links when possible for more natural linking.
