general topic forum

I'm finding it's very difficult to promote a general topic only forum. Since there are really no specific keywords since the entire site is random daily. I'm not going to pay for popups because I never even look at those myself.

I've submitted to search engines with decent success, maybe 100 visits a month with msn and google.

I think my most powerful tool would be word of mouth, but nobody knows about the site to tell anyone.

One problem I noticed was the entry page was a javascript redirect to the content. This makes it quite unlikely that a search engine would be able to index the site.

Your idea is very much appreciable. I hope many people will help you to give a proper suggestion about your topic.

It is true, and I wan wondering why don't u have a KW? And what's your target when u first build that forum?
