PHP: Possible to have it open Firefox Window TABS?

Is there a way to program php to execute a "load new window TAB" and open a specific URL in that window while not leaving the window you're currently in?

Basically I have a php script that execute MYSQL inquiries to load information on a page. While it jumps to each row to get the information i'd like for it to open a new windows TAB (Firefox) but still be in the first window as it continues to cycle thru the rows.

Any examples? thanks very much!

awpti has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Nope.

PHP is serverside, not clientside.

there is no way for PHP to directly control browser behaviour - this would constitute a major security issue on the client if servers could do this...

some browser behaviour can be controlled using javascript (or other clientside scripting), but i haven't seen any JS command to open in new tab (just new window - although some browser can be set to create a new tab when a new window is requested).

in order to get something approximating what I think you are asking, you will likely need some kind of Ajax script which responds to updated from the server...
