Straming Live Video ?

Hi:
Just spent a few days trying to understand how to 'Stream Live Video' to the web

Well, i'm going to give up this task because I'm overwhelmed (

What I did:
- Downloaded Flash and installed Media Server 3.5
- Downloaded and installed Flash Media Live Encoder 3

Spent several hours reading over 'beginner' documentation (written up by Tom Green of Humber College)

Then:
I noted that I had to download and install Flash CS4 Professional.

Result:
I don't know what Flash CS4 does (and they want a bundle of money for it too !), and I'm giving up for now (

All I *really* want to do is have my Logitech QuickPro 900 webcam stream live pictures to the web from my website, but I'm totally mixed up -- partly because FMS installs *another* copy of Apache Server on my local machine (instead of using my Apache webserver machine), and uses Port 80 -- which I *don't use*.

Thanks for reading this 'rant'.

(I wish there was a simpler way to do this).
