Hello all, i'm a bit new to web design, i've taken courses but actually designing and uploading a website is still new for me. My problem is when my page loads, a button i have on said page is supposed to play a sound. Only, no sound plays until either you reload the page or click on it about five times until it finally loads.

All I'm using is this javascript to play the sound...

function EvalSound(soundobj) {
var thissound=document.getElementById(soundobj);
thissound.Play();
}
</script>

along with an embedded element....

<embed src="../../sounds/scales/aeolian/a_aeolian.wav" autostart=false width=0 height=0 id="sound1"
enablejavascript="true">

and finally and input button...

<input type="button" value="Play Sound" onClick="EvalSound('sound1')">

also, i'm using multiple frames in which nested onClick statements are used, could maybe reordering these nested if statements to where the frame with the sound button is loaded first?

Hey I would try adding an onLoad behavior to the sound that way it loads right after other elements have.
