I use Super Free Youtube Video Downloader and freez flash flv to mp3 converter to do the job. You can try them out from http://www.spam.com

Hmm I do it different lol
As for me I look at the source, Link if you may say and then download the default.flv file and veiw it with a flv player Well if I want to save it or keep it that is. but alot of youtube to me, are better just to be viewed on site. then have your temp file deleted to save space

Paste the video url in the url box.
Select format (AVI, DIVX/XVID, MPEG, MP4, 3GP, WMV, MP3, FLV, MOV, WAV)
Click download.
Moreover, it can convert local videos on your PC in the formats above.

there are lots of things to download youtube videos but i prefer gazzump its really cool easy and download quality is also very good
