I have a movie in wmv format and I have a copy of flash 5. Is therer freeware out there to convert the file from the wmv to flash?

get the 30 day trial of macromedia flash mx , good program, import video by doing insert, media, video, to stage, then go to file, export, choose the file type in the save prompt, .swf, save

should work

Recently I've found the program, wich convert swf to video. You can download it here:

Using this prog you can add your logo to final video.

Downloading a programme without having some sort of specs on it can be dangerous. You don't know *what* you're getting.

You are right. But you know, I think whatever you download, it can become dangerous for you (mostly for ur PC

) But people still downloading any things, ignoring the danger. Question: why

bcoz they just need them.

It tool alows you convert any video to FLASH, and create HTML page for each a video flash file for display on Internet.

You don't need all those softwares. Just do it by Flash itself. Try to get Flash 8, and then do it.

You can do it in flash by yourself, but the flash software costs $600+ (?) and you need to learn about flash programming first. If all you need to do is to convert the WMV file into flash FLV format, you can consider this flash video software for windows, which can import avi, wmv, mov file formats, automatically convert to FLV (flash video), and let you choose a video player skin for a gallery.

HTML code can then be generated for you to setup a new web page, or embed the code into an existing HTML page to display the flash video player file, with thumbnails, playlists, etc.

Here is a tutorial about how to convert wmv files to flash flv swf, that may be helpful
