Dynamic DNS

I want to know what is dynamic DNS and advantages of using it?

If you use Dynamic DNS, you don't have to pay your ISP to have an Static IP.

You can make you computer accessible from the web just with your dynamic IP.

In order to get that feature working you need a "dynamic DNS provider" that will store your dynamic IP, which is updated every x hours. (depends on the ISP) You can find free services such as: no-ip.com

This feature is usefull if you want to run an HTTP, FTP or any other server in a PC on that network.
