As I mentionned above Horus_Kol this "person" moves around the world, escaping all economic responsibilities. The originator of this website has taken legal courses of action, but as you might imagine, since the thief changes residences constantly, this leaves her most difficult to reach to serve papers. Almost impossible. This is why I decided to do something: I live between three countries, none of which would care to hear this person's claims of slander. In my primary country of residence, she would have to first prove that what I have written was slanderous which it is not. Then she would be held by the fiscal police for payment or to serve jail time for fraude. There have been charges pressed in the homecountry of disfasia.net, and Italy has strict laws regarding fraud. So I would invite her to try to take action against me because she would certainly land in jail. In the country of my partner who she directly ripped off the story is different. And fraud and theft are, in these cases, still civil matters in some countries.

The postings were not meant in the least to be malicious. What is malicious is the theft and that "Robertson" denies them on the basis of her lies. For example, I was not misinformed about the web site history: the founder of disfasia.net made this site from an earlier website template that I know she designed when we worked together several years ago. I saw this same design four years ago in Italy and that Robertson claim I am misinformed is only proof that she is as uncreative a liar as an artist. These posting are truthful and I will repost my site until the thief pays for the property she stole.

I understand your need to take the names off but I will find other venues to post them.

Cheers!

You are welcome to take your discussions to another venue. You have harrassed staff members and not taken your problem to the appropriate people, namely one of the administrators, and you have threatened HTMLforums and Big Resources with legal action if we do not follow your instructions. That is unacceptable. You are no longer welcome here.

Creating a good website with solid content and attractive design elements is hard work and takes a great deal of time. The better the site, the more likely it will be copied, if not in whole at least in part. Website content theft is prevalent but there are ways to enforce your copyright--even on the Internet. Take them to court if they are unwilling to remove the content. Copyright laws protect your content, images and design and are easily enforceable when well documented. Few cases reach court, as compliance is usually swift once the threat of legal action enters the dispute.

I don't know why ppl steal designs when there are a lot of sites out there that offer free web design templates.

Just google free web design templates - you'll get a billion sites.
