No TOS can override the law...

That all said - if there was an agreement to pay in instalments for "milestones", and you delivered on that milestone (and can prove it), then you will most likely be safe... but only if you can provide evidence.

But remember - we're not lawyers, and so can't give a concrete legal opinion...


On a side note - as I read this thread, I see that you're really just trying to convince yourself, and pretty much ignoring the collected experience of the folks in this thread.

All this for only $200? The dude will not sue - it isn't worth it - whether he is in the right or wrong. I personally wouldn't worry about it - but that's just me. Maybe this guy IS out for blood.

IMO, u have to take action as soon as possible. Maybe, you could need the help from the attorney. Check what the contract say, it is better to pay a little refund money than being frauded.
