Hi,
I am involved in internet marketing. I believe I have uncovered a scam. When I asked some questions, I can no longer access my autoresponder, which is linked to the program. I have spent the entire weekend in touch with their support and I think I am getting the runaround.

I have had NO trouble until I raised some issues. When I try to log in to my account the log in page simply refreshes. As I look at the html. I think that it would need a link to actually log me in, and I think that this page is designed to just keep refreshing itself, and is blocking me. I've tried my best with very little html knowledge so I need an opinion from someone who knows the code.

You're asking us to help you crack a login code? Sorry, but we don't do that. Even if you do own the programme, we only have your word for it and I'm afraid that's not quite enough.

I am only trying to figure out if the form is setup to take me to a login or to refresh.

I have all my ID's and such, but it seems to me that where the user imputs there id, that the page is not set up to take them anywhere.

I 'm not asking what you think I am.

Just, does the code mean that a when a user fills in their id and password and presses submit, does it actually take them anywhere or just refresh the page?

That's an ok questions isn't it.

I do appreciate that you responded, because I just don't have enough html to tell if this is a "real" sign-in page.

I don't want to know how to get in...just if this login actually goes anywhere or is set to refresh?

Please advise, and if this is not ok to know, why. I'm trying to learn.

p.s. I don't own the program. I subscribe to the program and I have uncovered a ton of dirty dealings. I did some mailing through the auto responder they force us to use and ... I cannot access it anymore. Pretty coincidental

Either they have you blocked on the database or their php is buggered, I think. I'm not sure how you'd legally get around that. Hmmmm....

You may not need this information, however, I want to be totally straight up.

I am suspecting, that these two companies that I am dealing with, are the same entity. That is not what I am looking to find out. I think they have blocked my isp# by giving me a login page that goes nowhere.

I have my login for this account totally set up in RoboForm. I usually never even see the log in page. I've tried everything. Different browsers, turn off spyware, restart, had my id info verified, turn of RoboForm, clean the registry, and over 30 emails to their support with no idea what is going on. Check my cookies, etc. etc. Then they have just left it that they don't know and someone will be in touch.
I haven't figured out what to do about it all because I can't be sure if my suspicion that I have been getting a purposely non-responsive log-in page that is set only to refresh and that I am identified by their system by my ip address.

I have wondered if I went to someone else's computer would I get the same page?

So, I thought by someone basically reading the html, which is public, they could tell me what the hmtl is telling the page to do.

That really was my only question.

I must get better at online communication!

Well, to be honest, the guys working the weekends may not have access to the same information as the guys working weekday shifts.

You are right. I did notice that her last name was the Yvon Hache and that the site is registered to Scott Hache. So hard to know...Just for your info, the main potentially bad guy is Paul Birdsall. http://www.paul-birdsall.info/ I've found a TON of info that is more recent and have now examined two more of his programs and found so, so, so, many others. I wouldn't write this in the forum but see we are in the spam folder now.

These two are Canadian which really rubs my face in it. I let my downline know as soon as I realized I was proliferating a scam...it still works for some people, which is likely why it exists, but I suspect all of their programs demand use of Response Magic. You can't even export your downline list or print it out of this program. So they have access to all of the information that all of we suckers have gathered from our time and advertising dollars. As soon as I emailed my downline, within 24 hours I could no longer access my account. I just sent the link I sent you and told them to decide for themselves, but I was done.

I'll leave you alone now : ), I am sure you are busy.

If you go to www.whois.com you should be able to look up the information on this website and get the ISP name and address. You could complain to abuse@ whatever the ISP name is. If they are running a scam, then their hosting accounts will be shut down.

At least for me, even though I got ripped off : ), this is getting interesting.

I've think I am just going to keep going an going and see what I can find out about these guys.

Do you know how (for free) one can find out who owns a company?

My background is social services, so I am on a steep learning curve, which I am enjoying for the most part. It does get sickening to see the predatorial nature that one first finds when one first gets involved in searching out the web for potential business ideas, etc. I can't stand people who hurt other people. I think these guys have got web sites in every area, environment, Christianity...every marketing ploy available...and I do wonder if Response Magic is another angle to the scheme they are doing it. I read on the net that they own Platinum Synergy which is Response Magic as well as the stats program that the thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of sign ups must use. That gives them all the data of which marketing venues are providing the sign-ups.

Blah, blah, blah,

Anyway, in case I have lost you, do you know I find out who owns the various companies I am finding?

Go to www.whois.com and type in the site address in the search box. It'll come back to tell you that the site address is taken and then you can use the Lookup function from that page. That should give you the information you need.
