Internet Explorer v Mozilla Firefox

I apologise if I am in the wrong section of the forum, but I'm not sure where it should be.

I am at the end of my tether as to why something I do in my new web site using my favoured Mozilla Firefox does not work in Internet Explorer which I know many people use.

My web site is www.otrcricket.com

On the sponsors page is a link from our Sponsor (Ratcliffe) logo to their web site, it works perfectly in Mozilla but not in IE.

Could someone kindly explain what I am doing wrong.

I would be grateful for your help.
Many thanks
Victor

Try putting a doctype on the page:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

Sorry didnt work

Thank you for the suggestion, sadly this not only did not work, it now does not provide a clickable link in Mozilla now.

This is my entry:

<title="Radcliffe & Co - Finantial Advisors" alt="Radcliffe & Co - UK Financial Advisors..."
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.radcliffe-ifa.co.uk/index.htm" TARGET="_blank">
<img src="/logos/radcliffe.gif" border="0"/></a><p>

Thank you

The doctype goes at the very top of the page, directly before <html>

Internet Explorer v Mozilla Firefox

It is completely fine to have more than one internet browser on your computer. Out of these two i do prefer to use Mozilla Firefox because it is faster and safer.

There are atleast 3 main versions of IE in common use atm, did you check them all?

OP: You really need to fix these errors to make sure it works on all browsers.
There is nothing that special in your page that it would not work 100% the same in all browsers without trickerly

Not trying to offend you, but I think you should try learning some html first rather than blindly trudging along with some help.
