Ok, about your TV.
I see what you're talking about. The problem is that they dont have the same solidity as the rest of the TV. They aer "fuzzier", or "out of focus". Adding Feet could also help, or you might eant to even go legless, maybe just with tiny feet at the bottom. But if you DO keep them, I'd suggest making the more solid looking.
http://www.screamdesign.com has tons of photoshop tips that might help you fet a strong metallic look, They're also worth a look if you haven't seen them before. Hope this late reply helps somewhat
