<h1> is on a distinguished road
i could give a link but i don't think those characters would be supported by most popular character sets

Here are two html character entities that work in both IE and FF.

the notes are as follows:
#9834
#9835

Add one of those codes within your HTML and it will appear as the above. Remember to add & to the front of the number and ; add the end

But to do what you are wanting, it would just be easier to create an image with the music notation.

Hope this helps any!

What you'll need to do is find the font "Anastasia" and create an image using it. Those values don't return musical notes or any other notations for me. I think they're an IE/PC thing only.

The ones I posted work in IE and FF. Both the extras that BonRouge work only in FF.

What I did was go to Character Map (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools) and I went to Times New Roman. Then I just copied and pasted the character right into the HTML and saved it on notepad. Amazingly, the Unicode character appeared and no HTML was required. It also worked on IE and FF, in both Mac and Windows. Weird huh?
