Unhappy Help Please. Page Jumps From Right To Left On Load!! Driving Me Crazy!! =(

Hello everyone.

I am having the worst time trying to figure this one out. I created a site for a hair salon and every time the page loads for the first time, it jumps from right to left. Does anyone know why it is doing this? There is an example link below.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

phatbass is on a distinguished road
Loaded in IE7 - no problems.
Is this happening only in a specific browser?

Double check your table widths. I may be miscounting, but I'm seeing tables that are set larger than the widths they contain.

Hey thanks for the responses.

This is happening in all browsers. I went and checked the table widths and from what I can see everything is fine. I am looking on this page in particular http://www.erizzo.net/studiod/hair.html.

Ugh, I wanna pull my hair out! LOL

btw... I do like your site a lot!

only one thing... there is a way that lets you have a sticky header but also not have that little annoying white scroll bar that you can't control at the top of your site. I am at school ATM so I can check what the exact code is when I get home. Would you be interested in doing this?

It only happens if you have js enabled, so that's where I'd be looking

Thanks so much for responding. I looked into the JS and the other thing that I think it could be is the nav bar rollovers? That shouldn't do that though should it? Is there another way I can perform the rollover function without JS?

I've moved this thread over to Client-Side Scripting for you. One of the Javascript gurus there will know what to look for.

You can do rollovers with pure css, no need for js at all

Also, I tried disabling JS in Safari and the page still jumped for me.

Here is an example of what I am seeing:

I also found out it does not do it in IE 7 and Netscape (even though Netscape is bye bye).
