Seven Elements of Good Graphic Designing
Hi Friends,
I highlight few elements of graphic designing, Kindly suggest more .
1. Fonts & typography
2. Color scheme
3. Graphic & images
4. Web layout basic
5. Trickling & web navigation
6. Easily accessible & useable
7. Web design software
Elements of Good Design
• Fonts and Typography, Fonts are the way your text looks on a Web page. And most Web pages have large amounts of text for generating customer attraction.
• Color scheme, Color is everywhere. It's how we dress up our world and how we see things. Color scheme be used according to culture.
• Graphics and Images, Graphics are the fun part of most Web pages. As the saying goes "a picture is worth 1,000 words" and that's also true in Web design.
• Web Layout Basics, Layout is the organization of elements on a Web page. First you need to start with basic design principles. Once you understand them, you can move through how to place elements on your Web page.
• Tackling Web Navigation, Navigation is how your customers get around from one page to another on a Web site. Navigation provides movement and gives your customers the chance to find other elements of your site
• Accessibility and Usability, Accessibility and usability are often seen as a detriment to Web design, but a good designer focuses on making their site useful to as many people as possible
• Web Design Software, Most Web designers prefer to work in WYSIWYG or "What You See Is What You Get" editors because they provide a visual interface to the design.

Additional Elements
I find a VERY important part of good design is to consider your target audience, and design with that in mind. It can often be the breaking point for any good design, despite beautiful design elements and good flow. Considering target audience can include age, social class, economic class, religious views, disability, race, interests, and even system/browser requirements if designing for the web.

You're right. Might as well consider optimizing graphics and images for faster loading.

Hi,
I agree with your seven points but I suggest one points more for Web site design
Form Related to line:
Squint again and notice the text as a block, or rectangular form, instead of individual lines. Notice the images or art as shapes. And notice the entire piece as a form. All of the forms should flow from one to another. Each form should direct your eye to the next form on the page from top to bottom, again in a seamless flowing line.

What you're highlighting is webdesign.
first thing, its the only medium where the designer doesn't have absolute control over how the viewer (user) sees the design. They all have different screen resolutions, browsers, etc etc. So your design has to be flexible and designed for the lowest common denominator. Hence, all the IE hacks and workarounds.
In my mind, its all about interactivity, readability and flow.
