Question Designing a web layout in Photoshop

Hi,

I'm looking to create a web layout for my website in photoshop. I'm still fairly new to it and I was wondering if anyone had any links to any good tutorials that would give me a good starting point.

In addition, is it possible to add some code to make adjustable to different size screens?

Any help would be great and much appreciated

Try...

Hi,

If your new to PhotoShop, I would reccomend something a bit Simpiler...

Try Adobe/Macromedia Fireworks.... much simpler to use, and just as effective.

Also...

www.Lynda.com do excellent tutorials for most web development based software

i dont have that much knowledge in creating a website but i think you might wanna use dreamweaver for that. Design the template first in Photoshop then you will integrate it with Dreamwearver to add CSS codes in order to make the website work

Post Photoshop means practice

The more you work on photoshop the more acquainted you get with this software. It is the best software to make webdesigns. To make a site adjustable to different sizes, you must be able to do coding in HTML.

While you are creating the photoshop layout you cannot write a code, but when you will embed the layout in the webpage, then you can add a code. There are numerous tutorials for photoshop, but I am afraid that without any prior experience you won't be able to give your layout a professional look.

I think it is effective to do this job in Dreamweaver and use CSS to your site adjustable to different size screens.

I use a mix of Photoshop Elements and Dreamweaver in designer mode. You may find this works out to be the best of both worlds? Cna't hurt and learning new software can be a hoot
