Designers Block... Need some Help w/ Logo - HTML Forums

I'm designing a logo for a kennel, and am having trouble coming up with more ideas. It should be clean and modern (which is easy in general), but how do I incorporate the dog idea? Should I make it tough looking with Old English font and an urban rap vibe (or is that too cliche)? Ideas appreciated. Thanks!

You may find it easier to just use a silhouette of a pitbull head with minimal features using a few strokes or lines for the eyes, ears, and highlights, plus maybe a spiked collar, and then a heavy text font for the company name. I would avoid Old English.
