  • 26 warnings in VB.NET project!

    Hello

I am getting a multitude of warnings about 'Unable to update auto-refresh reference' in several files.

    Visual Studio 2013 cannot find:

    'entityframework.dll.refresh'.
    'microsoft.owin.security.oauth.dll.refresh'
    'WebGrease.dll'
    'Owin.dll'
    'microsoft.owin.security.google.dll.refresh'
    'microsoft.owin.host.systemweb.dll.refresh'
    'microsoft.owin.security.google.dll.refresh'

and so the list goes on!

I have recently updated Microsoft.AspNet.Identity.Core to 2.1 via the NuGet Manager Console - maybe that's something to do with it?

How best to resolve this, please?

I have no idea how this happened!

A quick search on the google machine says to remove the references and then re-add them.

The best way to resolve those references in VS.net 2013, is to use NuGet. Right click on the project and select "Manage Nuget Packages". You will need WebGrease and it will resolve the rest of those as required for the first package.

If you are not familiar with Nuget, I suggest that you get used to it. It is a integral part of VS 2010+
