    I have this in my css

    Code:
     .cross1 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/cross1.png);}
    .tick1 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/tick1.png);}
    .blank {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/blank.png);}
    .quest {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/quest0.png);}
    .dollar {background-image:url/Pinto/images/dollar.png);}
    .note1 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note1.png);}
    .note2 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note2.png);}
    .note3 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note3.png);}
    .note4 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note4.png);}
    .note5 {background-image:url/Pinto/images/note5.png);}
    .note6 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note6.png);}
    .note7 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note7.png);}
    .note8 {background-image:url(/Pinto/images/note8.png);}
    I have this in my html

    Code:
    <ul>
     <li>Restaurants <span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Breakfast<span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Bars<span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Business centre<span class="dollar"></span>
     <li>Wi-Fi<span class="dollar"></span>
     <li>Lift<span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Small pets<span class="cross1"></span>
     <li>Exterior garden<span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Parking<span class="tick1"></span>
     <li>Disabled access<span class="tick"></span>
     <li>Children's rate policy<span class="note"></span>
     <li>Babysitter<span class="dollar"></span>
    </ul>
    I have both dollar.png and note5.png in the correct folder

    All the images appear where they should except dollar.png and note5.png

    I tried to validate the css and get these errors

    556 .dollar Value Error : background-image url is not a background-image value : url / Pinto / images / dollar
    556 .dollar Parse Error dollar.png);
    556 .dollar Parse Error ;}
    561 .note5 Value Error : background-image url is not a background-image value : url / Pinto / images / note5
    561 .note5 Parse Error note5.png);
    561 .note5 Parse Error ;}
    What am I missing?...

    Everything worked fine in a skightly different page, but the main part is the same using the same css for this part. Why should all the other images appear except these 2?

    Hi qim,
    You're missing a bracket in your CSS, after url-

    HTML Code:
    .note5 {background-image:url/Pinto/images/note5.png);}
    should be

    HTML Code:
    .note5 { background-image:url (/Pinto/images/note5.png); }
    you have the same issue with .dollar.
