  • How to change Font Size

    Hi

    I am writing an ebook, which Amazon requires to be uploaded as a html file. The document is set to Font size 12pt. I had to change the code in the html file to get bullet and number lists to appear correctly. The code I used for number lists is:

    <ul>
    <li> Some text</li>
    <li> Some more text</li>
    </ul>

    The code I used for bullet lists is:
    <ol>
    <li> Some text</li>
    <li> Some more text</li>
    </ol>

    However the font size of the text within these lists appears either a lot smaller or bigger (or the same) than the font size (12pt) used for the rest of the document, when viewed using Kindle's Previewer. If through Kindle's previewer the book is viewed using:

    Kindle Voyage the text is a lot bigger
    Kindle DX the text is the same. If viewed using
    Fire HD the text is a lot smaller
    Fire HDX the text is a lot smaller
    Fire HDX 8.9 the text is a lot smaller

    How can I change the text within the lists to match the font size of the rest of the document?

    Please note, I am not a coder at all.

    You could try adding this to your page, right at the very top inside the <head> and </head> tags:
    <style>
    ul li {font-size: 12pt;}
    ol li {font-size: 12pt;}
    </style>
