      Hi there Peg,

      No problem, you're very welcome.
If you have any trouble with it's implementation, don't hesitate to let me know.

        Hi there Peg,

I forgot to mention that the reason why the code looks so complicated is
that it caters for IE6 which, as you probably know, only recognizes
pseudo class hover on the a element.

Once that browser has been put to rest the code will be a lot simpler.

Once IE is put to rest completely, the whole world will be a lot simpler.

            Hi there Peg,

I am afraid that we have a little while to wait for it's demise.......but I will probably be dead or retired from coding by then.

                    Arrrrrrrgh!!!!

Okay, I give up. I can get the first two of the last set to open up, but I can't get the rest to open ... Heck, I can't even get them to *show* up, never mind open up. Where am I going wrong?

Also, coot, you have an id as being "bb" but you use it on more than one link. I've put it as a class. Is that where I'm messing up?

                      Hi there Peg,

thanks for picking up my multiple id errors, I am getting really sloppy in my old age.

I have changed my original post to reflect this.

I have to admit that this IE6 code is very difficult to manipulate.
Anyway check out the attachment, which, hopefully, has got it working the way that you intended.

That's exactly how I want it. (((hugs))) Thanks, coot. I couldn't get it to work for love nor money. <sigh> There are days when I feel quite blonde, you know. I probably missed something simple, too.

Now all I have to do is tackle the Javascript layout and I'll be set. *g*

                          Not at all.

It would have been relatively simple if we did not have to code for IE6.

It took me a couple of hours to suss it out.

Oh. Okay. I don't use IE at all, so I wasn't sure where the hitch was.
