  • Severely outdated CMS won't allow link

I am currently updating the website for my NPO and I am trying to insert a link into the donation page. The code in the HTML editor looks like this:

    <p><em><strong><br /></strong></em><span style="color: #888888;"><br /></span></p>
    <p><a href="http://www.hackensackblueandgold.com/donations_general.php?id=20">Donations in Memory of Robert Mozia</a></p>

However, the cheap CMS we are using automatically adds http://www.hackensackblueandgold.com/ to every link, so when the link is clicked it goes to:
http://www.hackensackblueandgold.com/"http://www.hackensackblueandgold.com/donations_general.php?id=20" which result in the link not working. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before? What can I do to override this horrible CMS and insert the link without the automatic prefix?

    Thanks for any suggestions
