Quick look I didn't see any issues. But if you do find something that is just not right, please let us know here.

I know smilies are not working. I will get them working a little later.

      Hi there scoutt, :

well, this is a shock to my system.

Of course, as you have recently pointed out, I am crazy so sudden changes
to my surroundings tend to leave me feeling disconcertingly disorientated.

In the previous version I only had the WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT section open.

Is section closing not now going to be an option?

I also notice that signatures have disappeared.

Also how can avatars be changed or removed?

Looks good, Scoutt. I'll have to take a longer look around, but I haven't run across any problems yet.

I see you found out how to turn signatures on Apparently they are disabled by default now. The setting is in your account settings if anybody want to turn it on. As for the section closing, I don't see an option to do so but I am still looking. I also find it odd you can't close them. Avatars should be the same,

            Hi there scoutt,

            1. Signatures: O.K.
            2. Avatars: O.K.
            3. Sections: Well, I suppose that I must keep my fingers crossed on that one.

My little grey cells are slowly adjusting to the new layout colours.

Let's hope and pray that vB 5.2.1 attracts the punters.

Yeah I'm not having any luck with that feature of the section contracting. It might have to be something we add as an add on.

Actually, you could just load the page like this

I could, but to me that is far from ideal.

Of course, this is just a minor issue.

The major issue is the lack of email notification for replies to subscribed threads.

I have said, previously, that I believe this failure is largely responsible for HTMLForums' decline.

True, I will work on something that will allow us to do that.

It appears emails are now again flowing. I got your reply. And I totally agree with you.

                      Hi there Brian,

                      how weird is that.

Eight minutes after posting here, I receive my first email in months from HTMLForums.

If you have now got it repaired on a permanent basis, it might be worthwhile considering
sending out emails to all members with an invitation to revisit the site.

                        Oh my!,

It was a surprise to see the new layout!

It is nice and clean, although missing some of the flair that the old colours brought to the place!
                        Who needs a Signature?

Now we just need a new logo to go with the new clean look
Maybe we could start a competition?
If you like, I'll ask my Mrs, she's an art director for an Ad agency.

Must say, I'm a bit lost. Can't seem to see people's IP address's any more. Will take some getting used to.
But well done for putting in the effort.

vb5 is kind of buggy. You should have moved to xenforo
