"Safe" Flash Movie Size

Anyone have any advice on a "safe" flash movie size for a website?

Well first you would have to think about your target audience before you can decide what size will be safe. If you think your users will be mostly using dial up then as small as possible. If you think broadband then less than 1mb. Ideally 500kb or less.

RysChwith will become famous soon enough
Also depends on the purpose of the Flash. People are going to be willing to wait a lot longer for a movie that they're intentionally downloading than they would for, say, site navigation.
