Please Help

I am fairly new to flash and can't find the answer though I am sure it is out there. I am using Photoshop CS3 and I am trying to incorporate a Flash menu I created to replace a Sprymenubar I was using. Here is the problem, Whenever I insert the flash, it pushes everything else down so there is a large gap between my menu bar and text. How do I overlap this properly so the menu appears to be where it belongs? Thanks in advance.
