How to download youtube video into Adobe Premiere

I like to lounge around online and youtube is my favorite. Sometimes I find what I prefer. So I want to get and modify it in Adobe Premiere. But how? I googled the free tool and had a try. Wow, it really works. Today here I would like to share the experience for this process.

First I got the videos from youtube on my PC with the download tool and thought I could import the downloaded video into the Adobe Premiere with ease. However, I failed. It says it is invalid format. The downloaded video ends with flv and can not be acceptable by Adobe Premiere. Some video formats like avi, mpeg, mov etc are compatible to import. I need the software to make my flash video into Adobe Premiere. Really luckily, I found two solutions.

Solution 1:

1.Use the free download tool to get the video off youtube and save it on your PC.
2.Install the plug-in on your PC that can input FLV files into Adobe Premiere.
3.Import FLV files to Adobe Premiere.

In this way, you have to install two tools. Offer another more convenient way to complete the task. The conversion tool including the download and conversion function is probably more useful.

Solution 2:

1.Download the youtube video onto your PC.
2.Convert the downloaded FLV file into the formats acceptable by Adobe Premiere.
3.Import the converted video into Adobe Premiere and make your own video with Adobe Premiere.
