Google Map or Flash Map - HTML Forums

I need to embed a world country map to a website project, let visitors select his/her country, and then open the related web page. Can google map do this?

Seems google map let me insert points / bubble only, but I cannot find a way to highlight an entire country or let user select a country.

I am currently using a flash map generated using i-Map Builder for this purpose. It would be good if I can use Google map for this purpose as its more are more realistic.

There is many widgets available for the google sitemap you can use them in your site as you want
