How to sell using paypal??

Hello

I'm currently building a website for a friends business and he asked me if I could set up a way of him selling a range 5 products he offers. I've never done anything like this before so my first thought was paypal as he has a paypal account.

So is there a way of setting up a simple link for someone to buy these products using paypal?

Bit vague I know but I didn't know where to start.

Cheers

Hi Tom,

It's really simple to add paypal buttons to your website. After you login to a paypal account, click on the top button labaled "Merchant Services". This will take you to a page that has a "buttons" section. The ones you are interested in are probably "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now". The main difference between these two buttons is that "Add to Cart" allows your customers to purchase multiple items with a single checkout, where "Buy Now" requires your users checkout and buy with no options to include additional products with their purchase. From either of these links you will arrive at a page with some fairly simple and intuitive to fill out form fields, you will select your button appearance, be give the option for encryption (which I strongly suggest using), and then press the "Create Button Now" button on the bottom of the page. After you complete this, you will be give very easy code that you can copy and paste into your website to begin selling.

Hi Jason

Thanks for your reply. In my impatience I posted this question on another forum and was pointed in the direction of the paypal shopping cart that you described, I've managed to setup up quite an intergrated design for my website.

Cheers.
